Let's Reflect...

Fargo is an interesting city.
Life downtown has recently boomed for many reasons (one being the new Renaissance Zone incentives), and I couldn't be happier! The studio life, lack of parking, and my job at Foss make it convenient to spend spare time people watching while inhabiting coffee shops, galleries, bars, and funky clothing shops located nearby.  After I waste all my money on beer and unneccessary clothes, I can stop by the bank to reload.
Due to my concentrated time downtown Fargo, I am genuinely interested in this semester's research and design results.
Filling the void spaces...  will fight urban sprawl, continue to blur the "Town and Gown" boundaries, create business for the locals, give NDSU students something to do, reinforce the downtown community life, give quality to building design, hopefully better the quality of life for area home owners, spark interest in architecture, get the business students excited they have the opportunity to experience life outside of main campus, put wasted space to use, encourage diversity and student/community interaction....this list could go on forever...the positive effects from filling the voids will multiply over time...On the other hand, there will be a few not so positive issues developing.  Security of everything will need to be boosted. More people means possibly more criminals. Buildings, people, cars, studios...stuff will be at risk.

First Time Blogger - Day 1

I finally discovered how to upload a photograph. This is an example of poor design.
God Bless America.
